The Burnout Epidemic Report

The pulse on employee burnout

Get the report

Employee burnout has never been higher. After more than two years of increased workloads due to layoffs, hiring freezes, and The Great Resignation, coupled with the stress and dissatisfaction of being forced to return to the office, employees are still feeling the strain—and they’ve had enough. That’s not to mention juggling added pressures like managing at-home childcare with the requirements of a full-time job, and distressing world events including protests, rising inflation rates, and climate disasters.

To better understand this alarming trend, we surveyed 1,000 full-time employees across the U.S. about their experiences with workplace burnout. Our findings revealed that burnout has become an epidemic in the U.S., with the vast majority (89%) of employees reporting they’ve experienced it since 2020.
